A unique experience discovering the wines of Fattoria Carmignani: here wine is not only taste, but also hospitality and friendliness.
You will enjoy a wine and oil tasting experience, together with an AIS-FISAR qualified sommelier, with a walk through the vineyards.
Upon arrival you will be taken on a tour of the vineyards where cultivation techniques and the diversity of grapes for the production of wine will be explained. You will then be welcomed to the winery where a welcome glass of Montecarlo Bianco DOC will be served.
This will be followed by a tasting of five wines:
-Urano Sauvignon Toscana IGT (100% Sauvignon Blanc)
-Kapogiro Rosè Toscana IGT (35% Syrah, 35% Sangiovese, 30% Merlot)
-Tentazione Chardonnay Toscana IGT (85%Chardonnay, 15%Pinot Grigio)
-Theorema Toscana IGT (30% Merlot, 30% Syrah, 30% Cabernet, 10% Sangiovese - Aged in barriques for 18 months)
-Vin Santo DOC (90% Trebbiano, 10% Colombana)
Typical local dishes will be served in combination: the evo oil here produced accompanied by various types of D.O.P. bread from Altopascio (cereal, saffron and corn flour, turmeric, chestnut flour, and finally spelt flour), bruschetta with tomato, Tuscan ham, Colonnata lard and Tuscan cantuccini.
The ideal wine tasting for an immersion in the world of wine with a wealth of wines offering a range of scents, tastes and aromas accompanied by a range of dishes from the truest Tuscany.

Azienda Agricola Carmignani Enzo
Azienda Agricola Enzo Carmignani is located in the heart of the Montecarlo hills, southwest of the medieval village. Since 1386 the Carmignani family has handed down from father to son the love and passion for the land and in particular for viticulture. From this man-land bond, thanks in part to the vineyards' favorable exposure to the sun, the combination of the most modern equipment and painstaking workmanship, the Montecarlo D.O.C. White and D.O.C. Red wines are born.
