You'll start the journey joining a guide for a trip to Montecarlo to visit the Tenuta del Buonamico. Founded in the early 1960s by renowned Turin restaurateurs, the estate was originally created to supply their restaurants with Montecarlo wines. Today, while preserving the essential characteristics of ancient viticulture, the Tenuta's wines have positioned the company as a leading producer of fine wines in Montecarlo. You will tour the winery and then sample two of their wines paired with a platter of local products. As your second stop, you'll visit the Fattoria del Teso, a historic property that has been the subject of disputes between nobles and abbots since the Middle Ages. It was reorganized in the 1970s according to the principles of modern agriculture. The main building houses the storage cellar in the basement; offices, warehouse, refrigeration and bottling facilities on the ground floor; drying lofts for grapes on the first floor; and barrels for aging Vin Santo on the second floor and in the attic. Here too, you will tour the cellars and taste the farm's excellent olive oil.
