During your stay in Lucca, you will participate in a course focused on Tuscan wine and olive oil production, with an emphasis on the strong connection to the territory.
Lucca is the city of olive oil! You will learn how to identify the characteristics of an excellent extra virgin olive oil and how to pair oils with foods and dishes. At the end of the experience, you will taste the best olive oils in Tuscany. Then it will be wine's turn with 2 experiences during which you will explore various appellations of Tuscany with a selection of wines that best represent it:
-Tasting experience of Montecarlo wines with a first introductory look at different appellations, a small presentation of the production in this part of Tuscany, and the tasting of 4 different wines accompanied by a selection of local cured meats and cheeses.
-Wine tasting experience “The Super Tuscan & Chianti Classico” with an explanation of the history and development that underscores a Super Tuscan and compares it to the historic Chianti Classico. Afterwards, tasting of 4 different wines accompanied by a selection of local meats and cheeses.
