Giovanni Boldini. The Seduction of Painting is the new impressive exhibition produced by Contemplazioni, open until June 2 2026, at the Cavallerizza in Piazzale Verdi - Lucca.
Curated by Tiziano Panconi, the exhibition boasts the participation of prestigious public and private collections, including the Uffizi Galleries and the Giovanni Boldini Museum in Ferrara, and aims to celebrate ‘the master of Belle Époque portraiture’.
A journey through more than 100 works that recounts the evolution of Boldini's painting through beauty, especially female beauty, the subject of continuous aesthetic research and profound psychological investigation, on which the master coined an idealized model of grace.
