A journey through the flavors and stories of Italia tradition in the historic San Donato casermetta in Lucca.

You will start the morning with a tour of the best of local producers. After shopping you will return to the casermetta to cook. You will toast with an aperitif, then the chef will finish the lunch while you will relax at the table and you will enjoy the fruits of your labor.

I am Matthew Cook, a graduate of the Courdon Bleau in Los Angeles and a professor at Lorenzo dei Medici University in Florence in the culinary department. I have lived in Lucca since 2015 where my passion for cooking and teaching has made me fall in love with Italy and its culinary culture.
